Recreational and Social Activities
Our Recreational and Social Activities include attending college and professional sporting events, visiting local museums, cooking classes, arts and crafts activities, drumming lessons, and attending local theater productions. Many of our activities include community meals and friendly games. We enjoy time together at many local venues, including SEEDS and Maple View Farms. Beginning Summer 2011, we will begin to offer activities in the new Levin Jewish Community Center in Durham.

Our son and daughter are siblings who have each had their own medical challenges over the last few years. From surgeries to chemo treatments, they have seen more specialists in a short amount of time than most people see throughout their lives. During this time, it was challenging for them to maintain relationships and relate to their peers. BounceBack Kids provided a much-needed opportunity for them to connect with other kids who were walking a similar path. It has also given us the chance to meet other parents that are facing similar circumstances. We are so grateful to the staff and supporters of BounceBack Kids.
